Safeguarding Notice

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment.

If you have any concerns regarding the safeguarding of any of our pupils please contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads: Mrs Sarginson, Mrs Hill or Mrs Dixon

    • Starting School Information

    Starting school is a very important time and the information below will help you to support your child at home with activities linked to their learning in school. If you have any questions about any of the resources, please speak to the Reception teachers who will happily give further advice and support.

    Is your child school ready?

    Is your child at the correct developmental stage for holding a pencil?

    Learning some Set 1 sounds will help to support your child and prepare them for starting school.

    Recognising some numbers will support a smooth transition into school. At Hopwood we use the Ten Town characters to help us.
