Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment.
If you have any concerns regarding the safeguarding of any of our pupils please contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads: Miss Harland, Mrs Hill or Mrs Dixon
Please see the safeguarding section of our website under Policies > Safeguarding.
Online safety is an integral part of children’s education and is embedded in their learning at school. We also want to help our parents and children improve their own understanding of online safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.
As a parent you will know how important the internet is to children – they use it to learn, play, socialise and express themselves. It’s a highly creative place of amazing opportunities. However, the technology children use every day can seem a bit daunting and you might worry about the risks your child can face online – such as bullying, contact from strangers of the possibility that your child might see inappropriate or illegal content.
Parents, governors and staff have been contributing to working towards National Online Safety's school accreditation scheme, which provides parents, guardians, school staff and governors with access to online safety guides, webinars and courses in the aim to benefit our whole school community.
We are very please to share that we have successfully achieved the school accreditation for the school year 2020 - 2021!
