Year 5 Spanish Christmas Card Workshop
Year 5 had a visit from Newhouse Academy in which they used their language skills to create Christmas cards. Learning took place through fun activities and conversation games.
Year 6 Spanish Day at St Anne's Academy
Year 6 attended St Anne's Academy for a day of Spanish. During this trip, Year 6 learned traditional Spanish dances, how to cook authentic Spanish food including Paella and worked with language specialists to build on their current vocabulary knowledge.

Year 3 have used actions and prompts to ask the question 'Who?' when learning how to introduce themselves.
Spanish in KS1
In Year 2, the children have been learning songs and chants along with actions to remember how to pronounce numbers 1-10 in Spanish.
Family members
Year 2 have been learning the names of family members in Spanish and used the correct endings on masculine and feminine nouns.
