In science, we classified sweets according to their characteristics.

We loved saying hello to the chicks!

In history, we examined a range of Victorian artefacts. We tried to work out what they were and how they were used.

We welcomed our link class from St Peter's. Together we played games and built a together town.

In DT, we used the bridge and claw method when chopping celery. In Geography, we made water cycles in a bag.

In science, we investigated sound and vibrations using drums and rice.

We improved our hockey skills in PE.

We had our first Journalism Workshop, where we wrote football match reports. 

This week we have enjoyed our Christmas party, a pantomime, Christmas dinner and a special visitor!

In RE,  we made a matching game in order to help us remember our important facts.

We had a wonderful day at M6 Theatre for our linking project with  our partner class from St Peter’s. We enjoyed a play called ‘Nest’ and drama workshops. We then discussed our wishes for the world and performed a short piece in front of everyone.

This week we enjoyed putting our computing learning to the test with a HTML Kahoot quiz..

We visited the Hindu temple in Oldham. We drew a range of artefacts whilst we were there and found out lots of information about the Hindu faith.

In computing, we played ''quiz, quiz trade'' in order to remember key information..

In PE this week we have been working on our fitness and we completed circuits of different activities.

Class 10 enjoyed orienteering in PE this week. They had to collect different symbols, numbers and letters, then use them to complete different challenges.

We had our first Star Club session, where we played team games and developed our working together skills.

We welcomed our parents in to class to watch a Deepening Reading lesson.

We had our very first violin lesson. We learned the names of the violin parts and were able to play two songs.
