We had a MAGICAL time during World Book Day

Class 8 enjoyed using the Spanish dictionaries in their lesson this week. They worked in pairs to find the word in Spanish.

Class 8 have enjoyed learning about the different components of an electrical circuit in their science topic. They then worked with a partner to create their own circuit.

Year 3 loved performing their assembly about Christmas at St. John's Hopwood.

Class 8 enjoyed using an email to reply to the BFG who had lost his trumpet. We discussed how to send an email and what we needed to include.

Class 8 enjoyed researching biscuit boxes as part of this half terms DT project. We looked at who the boxes would appeal too, what material they were made of and commented on the design, discussing what we liked about them.

Class 8 enjoyed playing Simon dice in Spanish this week to practise all they have learnt this half term.

Class 8 enjoyed working as a team to create the longest paper chain in STAR club!

Class 8 enjoyed exploring symbols in art as part of our aboriginal art topic. We will use these to create our own journeys based on the work of Paul Klee.

Class 8 enjoyed working together to think of as many adjectives to describe the setting from our story, Leon and the Place Between.

Class 8 have been learning about the skeleton and how it supports and protects our bodies and helps us to move!

Class 8 have been using base 10 and arrow cards to represent numbers to 100 and 1000!
