Learning and News

Class 7 loved using the VR goggles and travelling to Spain. They looked at a variety of places and discussed the similarities and differences of Spain and the UK.

We used different components to create a circuit. It was great to investigate when the circuit stopped working.

We had so much fun learning how to use a ukulele and what the different parts of a ukulele are called. We learnt a song to help us remember.

We used all our learning about shell structures to design and make a biscuit box. We loved every minute of it and are so proud of our work.

Year 3 loved performing their assembly about Christmas at St. John's Hopwood.

Class 7 really enjoyed using tuned and untuned instruments to create sound effects for specific parts of a story.

Class 7 loved every minute of Freddie Fit. Whilst enjoying some great music, we learnt lots of different ways to exercise.

Class 7 loved practising their cutting, scoring and folding skills when creating shell structures during our DT lesson. They had great perseverance, well done Class 7!

Class 7 learnt all about friction in science this week. They enjoyed investigating how long it took a car to travel along the different surfaces and how the different surfaces impacted the speed..

Class 7 enjoyed working with their partner to build a sentence using speech bubbles or including inverted commas for direct speech. They then used their new learning to write their sentence on a whiteboard. Super work class 7!

Class 7 loved working together as a team to answer a variety of questions based on their R.E topic from last year. Great retrieval skills!

Class 7 have enjoyed learning all about 3-digit numbers and estimating their place along a number line.

Class 7 have been learning all about the skeleton and how it protects our body. They have been learning some of the names of the bones in the human skeleton too.

Class 7 enjoyed using base 10 equipment to show numbers to 100!

Top
