What have we been up to?

We have been learning how to use the library system. This has included preparing new books for our library and scanning books using our library system.

We have planned some themed book ends in our library which we think our friends will like. Our most recent display is Autumn. Here is Millie setting out books to help children with their worries.

We had a great start to the year adding some new books to our school library.

Our ambassadors have scattered golden tickets in some of our library books. Keep an eye out to win a prize.

We have been helping stamp lots of brand new books for RWI lessons for our Reception and Key Stage One children.

We have been reading Reception's new STAR book, Missing Richmond, with them and asking them questions about the story.

The Reading Ambassadors ran the book shop for the whole school on World Book Day. They gave recommendations on what the children should choose and helped our younger children with reading them.

We have been into Reception to read some of their STAR books to them.
