Learning and News

Class 3 have enjoyed some amazing PIPS. We have learnt about different holidays, hobbies and families.

We enjoyed our Life Skills morning. We learnt about First Aid kits, inhalers, how to apply a bandage and the recovery position.

We have made our own hats this week, we practised using imperative verbs and followed our own step by step instructions. This links to our class book I Want My Hat Back.

In Spanish, we played bingo whilst learning our new feelings vocabulary.

In English, the children have been writing a diary entry inspired by the book I Want My Hat Back.

In History, we have used role-play to retell the Gunpowder Plot.

Anti- Bullying week

In DT, we have been looking at different mechanisms. We looked at books which include different pop up pictures and envelopes.

In maths, we have been learning about different 2D and 3D shapes.

In science, we have made shakers using different materials.

In geography, we used maps to hunt for treasure.

In our art lesson this week, we have been learning about the artist Kandinsky.

In science, we have been looking at shakers made from different materials.

In maths we have been finding number bonds to 10.

We have been learning about maps and compass points in Geography.
