Learning and News

We have loved learning and writing like the suffragettes. This week in writing, we were writing a balanced argument so we split into two sides and we performed a debate between suffragettes and suffragists. This activity allowed a depth of understanding of he two groups but also how they were two sides of the same team. Class 14 thoroughly enjoyed collating their argument points and then putting them into action!

In Geography this week, Class 14 have been researching types of renewable energy. They each, within their groups, created and presented advantages and disadvantages of hydro, wind and solar energy as well as understanding how fossil fuels are used. A fantastic lesson!

It has been Class Assembly week for Class 14! Every single person represented and spoke for their class with pride and confidence on Wednesday morning and we are so proud of the work we have done so far this year. The children loved sharing their subjects and the themes that run through them with everyone who attended; so thank you all again!

Our Class 14 musicians have composed and performed their clapping music today. They have used rhythmic elements to create a piece of music, they have rehearsed it and then performed their creations using clapping and body percussion. A fun and fantastic way to end our topic this half-term.
