Learning and News

In Science, we explored how animals are classified into vertebrates and invertebrates. We researched their key characteristics and used what we learned to design creative posters.

"In Geography this week, we explored what it’s like to be right next to a volcano using virtual reality headsets — it felt like we were actually there!"

This week in PSHE, Class 10 have been looking at conflicts, negotiations, and compromises. In groups we acted out a conflict scenario, held a negotiation, and came to a compromise.

In maths this week, we have been learning about place value. To enhance our understanding, we have been using place value charts.

In DT, we have been using laptops to research everyday items that contain levers and pivots
