Learning and News
Life Skills
We have learnt how to put our coat on and fasten it, pin a badge on and take it off again, learnt our date of birth and address and used a ruler correctly.
We made pitta pockets. We used lots of skills we have learnt in DT and made our own pitta pockets. We hope they taste as delicious as they look.
We loved Scootfit! We used our balancing skills to help us scoot to lots of music.
TTRockstars Day! Wow, fantastic rockers!
We loved using instruments to practise our call and response topic in music.
Class 6 loved researching for their new DT project. They tried lots of food to see what they would when making their own pitta pockets.
VR Goggles
We spent some time this week using the VR goggles. We imagined that we were Neil Armstrong walking on the moon.
Christmas Production
Class 6 used lots of skills to create their own moving vehicle. Lots of patience was needed to create such marvelous vehicles!
Class 6 had a lovely time crafting. Thanks to all our adults for their help!
PE
This week we have been working on improving our core.
Science - testing surfaces
We worked together to test different surfaces to see which one was the best surface for ca car to travel down the fastest.
In DT we have been learning how to saw a piece of wood in readiness for when we make our moving vehicles.
We have sorted materials into different groups.
Class 6 loved making bear sandwiches before writing a set of instructions, using adverbs and imperative verbs.
We loved creating our own moving pictures, retrieving all our learning from last year.

This week we have enjoyed parents coming into school to share our learning.
