VR Goggles
We spent some time this week using the VR goggles. We imagined that we were Neil Armstrong walking on the moon.
Christmas Production
PIPS
This week we learnt some facts about the human body and the tv show The Gladiators.
Christmas Craft
Parents were invited into school today to make some special Christmas craft with Class 5.
Creative Poem
This week in English we have been using our senses to write a poem about a really cold environment.
Remembrance
Two children from Year 2 put the poppy wreath around the flagpole in our special celebration.
Freddy Fit
What a great time we had when Freddy Fit came to work with us.
PIPS
We have had two wonderful PIPs this week.
PE
This week Class 5 have been working on improving their core.
Science - testing surfaces
We worked together to test different surfaces to see which one was the best surface for ca car to travel down the fastest.
DT - using a saw
In DT we have been learning how to saw a piece of wood in readiness for when we make our moving vehicles.
Maths - Add by making 10
In maths we have been using egg boxes and counters to make out maths calculations easier.
Instruction Writing
Class 5 loved making bear sandwiches before writing a set of instructions, using adverbs and imperative verbs.
Learning Together
This week we have enjoyed parents coming into school to share our learning.
Materials
In science, we have been looking at different materials and then trying to group them.
DT - Moving Pictures
As part of our retrieval, we have looked at moving pictures and have made out own!
