Healthy School

Welcome to our Healthy School page!

As a designated Healthy School, we are committed to promoting the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of all our pupils. This page provides guidance and practical advice on a range of topics, including healthy eating, physical activity, mental health and positive lifestyle choices. You'll find useful resources and tips to support a healthy, balanced life both in and out of school.

Snacks

The Government’s school fruit and vegetable scheme entitles all children in KS1 to one piece of fruit and / or vegetable per day.

We provide the following snacks:

  • Fruit and vegetables are provided for EYFS and KS1 at breaktimes
  • KS2 are encouraged to bring in fruit or vegetables or a healthy snack (yoghurt, cheese, breakfast bar) at breaktimes

Please read the school's food policy below.

Children need to be physically active for 60 minutes a day, with 30 minutes of that activity taking place outside of school. Click below for a range of physical activities your child may enjoy.
