Specific duties of the sports leaders

Sports leaders work with Mr. Beamish to help check and maintain kit and equipment, and plan and support sporting activities.

At breaktimes the sports leaders will run sessions with younger children under the supervision of Mr Beamish.

They will also attend and support some of our after school competitions, during which, they will record the results and write up match reports.

Sports leader requirements

• With support, plan session plans for their clubs (dinner time and after school)
• Write reports from competitions and get them checked by Mrs. Sarginson/Miss Lines
• Take phots when needed (evidence)
• To be a confident leader
• To be a role model for other children
• To be polite and hardworking in all areas
• To attend school competitions when needed (reports)
• To be a team player
• To support other Sport Leaders when needed
