Learning and News

Class 1 have been adding two single-digit numbers. They have been using counters, Numicon and tens frames.

Class one have been writing a recipe for a witches' brew. They then put their recipe into action.

Our new topic is 'Let's Explore.' We will be looking at the following books to start our adventure.

This week in maths we are looking at the number 5. We have been to the cake shop and bought currant buns with five pennies. We have been making shapes with five sides. We have also been using conkers on the five frames.

This week in Maths, we have been using the sorting circles to sort animals by colour.

We listened to the story of Supertato and decided to make our own mashed potato.

We have been rolling the dice and counting out the animals to match the number.

Reception have been exploring the outdoor area. They have been using the play equipment and having fun going down the slide.
