Walk to School Winners

The Walk to School campaign has started! Before the half term holidays, the ECO team spoke to all of the children in assembly and explained the importance of walking to school. Throughout the summer term, the ECO team will be taking a record of how many children in each class walk to school and every week the winning class will be given a certificate.

Take a look at the table below to see which class has won each week!

ECO Team Assembly

Well done to the ECO team, who did a fantastic job presenting their powerpoint to the whole school.

They spoke about what the ECO team do, why it is important to use a reusable water bottle and they explained all about the new Walk to School Award. Each week our ECO team will visit each class to see who has been walking to school and the class who walked the most will receive a certificate in our achievement assembly.

The Eco Team have worked together to create a PowerPoint to share in assembly.

They have developed a Hopwood Eco code and began a newsletter to give to parents
