Find out what we have been up to

Anti-Bullying Training

We completed some anti-bullying training is school to make sure that we can carry-out our roles correctly.

Kindest Class Awards

We started to celebrate kindness in school by giving out the Kindest Class Award. Children are nominated by being spotted by adults in school and other peers. They receive a certificate during Friday's assembly.

Children's Mental Health Week

This year the theme for Children's Mental Health Week was 'Growing Together'. The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors led an assembly about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow.

Anti-Bullying Week

We celebrated this important week as a whole school. This year's theme was 'One Kind Word' which is more important than ever. The isolation of the last eighteen months has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. We started the week by organising Odd Sock Day, where children came into school in odd socks to show how different we all are. The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors led an assembly to start the week. At the end of the day, the Ambassadors presented whole school work and activities in the playground for parents to see when they collected their children.

Anti-Bullying Posters

Our Y6 leadership group generated anti-bullying posters to display in frames around the school.
