Our learning in DT
This half term we are looking at bridges. We began by looking at the four main types of bridges and looked at some famous examples from across the world. We then began to design our own bridges which should hold two (lego) soldiers. We created them out of art straws, blue tack, elastic bands and sellotape. Here are some photos of us in action!
Our learning in Topic
Our topic this half term is countries from all over the world. We have been looking at the different continents on planet earth and the countries within those continents. We learned where the northern and southern hemisphere is and how the equator effects the weather all over the world.
